On the Move

Okay so here we go again.
Packing up once more.
Hopefully and prayerfully the last time.
We love it at our new house.
It is so pretty! I have Pictures too!

We have been appointed to Russellville, AR!
I've always wanted to live in Arkansas!
So I'm really excited!
We get the truck tomorrow evening.
So much to do and so little time to do it!
Any volunteers!??? Seriously! All we have is Me, mom, dad, and matthew to get the truck loaded!
I wish someone was available...

Quicky! VERY QUICK!

Okay so I have to get ready for work here in a couple minutes but I figured I'd post something so y'all know I ain't dead over here!
I have been so busy blogging hasn't been on my to do list ever.
Okay so we leave for convention tomorrow morning. I have yet to really take a slice into packing yet. I have so much to do!! AND my mom and I work today and she wants to go in an hour early! I was so angry! I wanted to sleep!
So this weekend is Regional Convention. 13,14, and 15.
Then Jr. camp is 16,17,18 and Sr. camp is 18-22.
But I won't be back until the 24!.
So I have to pack for all of this and go to work 8-4.
well mom is going to cut my hair this morning so i better go get in the shower so we have time.

Women of the bible.

I need another favor.
I'm studying the bible for young women that had important roles in the scripture.
Of course your most common ones that I already have,

Mary Mother of Jesus and Miriam Sister of Moses and Aaron.
I know most of the women in the bible are all older and aren't really conducive to little girls.
I'm tryiong to point out in my class at Jr. Camp for the girls with the title, "You don't have to be a star, " that even though today they as young girls look at famous girls today and desire to be like them! But I'm wanting to show them that even in the bible there are famous (well known) girls who are also important. Actually more important more or less then those that they already inspire to be.

So any thoughts are welcome.

Anyways I better be getting back to work on the class. Just thought I'd for some other brains to help me out in this one.

Went shopping!

Okay so what do you do when your boss has your ride (mom) scheduled from 9-5 and you 9-4?
You sit around that extra hour and do nothing! Well that's what I usually have to do. But this time Denise went shopping next door to Hobby Lobby! Stage is kinda pricey but they still have some nice stuff. I of course looked at the clearance racks. =)
and for 9.50 I find the cutest pair of black pants. With an adorable looking belt that came with.
I thought to myself, "Okay so I have these pants and the belt is cute but the pants just need something else!! What are they missing?" So I bought the pants right? Then I went back over to Hobby Lobby bought an iron on design and it looks so COOL!!!!!!!!!!
You have got to see this! LOOKY!

I need a favor. =)
I need someone who can write me a story (short) Based on the prodigal son except!
Instead of a boy It needs to be a girl and probably more 20th century time zone??? maybe.
And it has to be conducive to 8 - 11 year old girls.
SOOOOO anyone up for the challenge?

I need it in the next couple of weeks. in the next week would be great!

On the road again... I just cna't wait to get on the road again.

Guess what?! I got my drivers learner permit today! AHHHH!
Tonight was VLB service. Then after church dad had me drive what I thought was to go home but he had me drive for my first time in traffic all the way to Taco Bueno!!!!!!!! Yeah!!! No I did really good though. Dad was really proud of me. For my first time in major traffic I can't wait to drive again! Where can we go to next? hehehehe...
Well I have to work tomorrow so I better get to bed.
I wish mom would let me drive tomorrow to work. lol. We are just up the road about a mile not even so. I drove like 4 miles today. Which was pretty awesome possum!

Sunny Days

There is so much excitement in the air.
I feel reinstated in my life and its so refreshing!
Okay take away the fact that I've been sick since the day I got back.
And very tired, still don't feel like I've gotten the amount of sleep needed for the lack thereof that I didn't get at BTI.

I tell you I was in bed every night by at least midnight. Then I had to turn around and get up at 5:30! every morning! Yeah no wonder I kept falling asleep during class! lol.

Anyway. Can't talk long. I have to get ready for work. But I thought I'd drop in and say hi.
Nobody really reads my blog anyways. Right?

Play dough of our classes so I made a flower purely on accident so I showed her and she loved it so much! She couldn't get over how real it looked. Neither could I really lol. So I went shopping and got some clay and that night I made her a clay rose.

BTI UPDATE:

Greetings from Bible Training Institute.
I realize I haven't been keeping up with updates like I said I was going to, but you know, you get pretty tired.
Anyway. BTI has been wonderful. Actually I can't describe how great it has been.
The Lord, oh my goodness, he has just been blessing tremendously!

There are 10 people in first Term this year.
Let's see if I can name them all shall we?

Yeah, everyone seems to think we are the most quiet first term class in history.
Our reasoning on this is,

"We came to BTI to hear our teachers tell us what they know not what we know." -Alan Mack

"I'm here for a renewing of mind and spirit, not to mention I'm always quiet, and I just want to listen like I usually do any how." - Denise Branscum

And many other responses like these that I can't quite remember right off the top of my head.

But the bible does say to be slow to speak... so haha I guess that's what we are trying to follow.

We all did wonderful on our Mid-terms. We all made 100%
Oh man I have some stories about that but I'll tell them at a later time.
For now I'm going to go and check on some other stuff before class.

Todays the day.

I leave as soon as and no later then I get home from work at 4 today! AHHHHHHHHHH *runs around the living room* AHHHHHHHHHHH
I'm packed and ready to go. I THINK i have everything.
But We'll find out when we get there and need something now won't we? hehehe
Well let's see.
I'm ready for work, I'm packed, I have my lunch prepared for work today... What am I forgetting? Well I have the whole day to think about what else I need...
Cause I just know that there is something I'm forgetting!
I have my camera and I'll take pictures! I also have my cell phone so if you want to call and check on BTI go right ahead! Don't have my number? e-mail me. Don't have my e-mail... well... its my first and last name in lowercase @ yahoo.com! Don't know my last name? hahahaha well.... then I can't help you there my friend. =)

Okay well... mom has strictly given me two and only two guidelines to follow while at BTI.

1. Only Friendships... Don't start off a relationship with ANY guy. lol
2. Well I can't remember two... but One pretty much says enough for two. haha

A girl yesterday that I work with was checking out some snacks I bought for the trip and she said, "Where are going Denise?" I said, "Tennessee." She Said, "Oh to see your boyfriend?" Me, "No!" Her, "Your Fiancé ?" Me, "No Megan! I don't have time to get married, I'm already losing my mind."

Hahaha. =)

As I walked out the door, "Hahahaha *Smiles*"

Well Let's see I'm already ready to go which is pretty strange considering mom is usually always waiting on me.
Mom and I both work at Hobby Lobby.
She now is the department head of Fabrics.
And I am the Department Head over the Front Registers.
Yeppers.

I've been there for 6 months. And In January 2008 I'll qualify for the first Time Buyers Program... and will have had my job for a year. Which will put me in GREAT Shape when I go to get my Ford Fusion in January! AHHH *screams* lol

Any ways. I better end this before I think of something else to say! I have to go to work.

Haha these are a couple of guys I work with.
They are brothers and so goofy.
Paul our Ass. Manager is being transfered to Missouri.
Today was his last day. We had a special luncheon for that today.
They decided to wrap his car... and the truck.. well... that would be our Managers. haha lol.
Little do they know... I'm posting this on here. Isn't it great! Well anyway.

So long, farewell!

Oh my goodness it's so close! BTI is almost here! We leave tomorrow evening.
After I get off of work we will leave straight for the bus station.
I'm as nervous as ever! my nerves are SHOT! Between getting ready for BTI, work, people I work with, customers, home... *sigh* I want to call in tomorrow so bad! Especialy if I don't get finished packing tonight.
I'm exhausted! I have just been going and going! Kinda like that stupid battery bunny. lol =)
Well like I was saying.. I have plenty to do and little time to do it in. For those of you who even read this.... and who are going to BTI I'll see you there! And those who aren't... I'll try and keep everyone posted with pictures and everything!

I can't find a single ride to BTI!
Seems out of the many people that are going... they are all flying? I hardly believe that!
But whatever... So I guess I'm flying!
Yikes. =) I'll be buying my ticket today or tomorrow. =|
All I have to do is set up someone to pick me up at the other end.

Chelsea stayed the night last night. More like it turned out I just got home from work and I get on the computer to check my mail real fast and msn logs me in, and Chelsea asked me, what are you doing this weekend? then it says shes off line so i can't respond of course lol.
Then she comes back on and says what are you doing tonight? I said well we are fixing to leave to go eat at Golden Corral. I invited her but she just wanted to do something with me.
So we went to Kohls, Guitar Center, Incredible Pizza (put put), Quick trip, then we came back to my house. Decided she would spend the night.

Wow I stayed up till 3 am talking to a friend and Chelsea went to sleep... I got up at 8 or so... I'm really kinda hungry now So I'll go grab something to eat.

WINTER JAM

The concert was awesome!
I was going to post this morning before work but time got away from me very quickly.
But any who. I didn't take pictures because the only camera I had was my phone... and I can't transfer to the pc yet.
Yeah so... hmm.
I got video of Jeremy, Aaron, Heather, and Derek Jumping up and down. lol it was so funny.
i finally gave in a joined them though. lol.

i want to cry. But is it a happy cry? or a sad cry?
I want to tell someone how i feel! But i don't know what I'm feeling. so how can I tell?

BIG NEWS!

Okay... I have been talking to the manager of this hotel down here... and he just brought me down to:
For 1 King or 2 Queen Beds $ 54.99 + Tax and for Suites is Same.
Now thats pretty good to get the suite for that much per night.

Take that and divide by let's say 3 people... And you have a great rate for an entire two week I'd say around 300 for each person. I've over estimating but that's always better.

8:48 am and all is well!

Hi everyone! I'm up 30 minutes before I needed to be. So I figured I'd get on here and write about something... anything really. I'm just not too sure what that is as of yet.
I'm dieing to know how many of you are planning on going to BTI! But then again I have no idea who evens reads my blog anymore. I think I'm like that little pebble... you jump from one rock to another rock... and pass over the little ones. =( hehehe. That was kind of a quick illustration. =)
I give it too you though I rarely have been on here and my life isn't all that exciting as some of you.
Big things going on right now are,

What is my transportation going to be when I get to BTI?
or:
Is this something I'm going to get to do on my own, or do my parents have to be there?

Money really isn't an option I know that will be there.
Yeah I'll be kind of dissapointed if I don't get to go... but theres this guitar down in the corner of this page with my name all over it! =)
Whether I go to BTI or not that guitar is going to be mine. But I pray I do go. I just need a roommate who can drive both of us to and from BTI. Preferably someone my mom and dad both know and trust. *sigh*
There is someone I'm planning on staying with but If that doesn't work out I'm looking at "possibly" staying at the Douglas Inn.. or somewhere like that.
They are really nice. But if someone will double maybe even tripple with the room I'm looking at there are three beds... or could be if thats what you choose... and we could just split the cost.
So seriously planning ahead is like my cup of tea. I depend upon knowing ahead of time and planning for the future. =)
So please ya'll who are going to BTI do get ahold of me.

Theres a queen size sleeping sofa, and the two beds are also queen.
This is the kitchen.
The living room.
The bedroom.
So it's a pretty nice place. I've had family stay there for BTI before.
I've been talking to the guy about a room for BTI time.
So really if anyone is interested. Now I'm not for sure I'll make it to BTI yet... But planning ahead isn't bad. =) These are just some thoughts of mine being put out on the table. So get back with me.

BTI!

Okay... so seriously... who's planning on being at BTI this year? I am!
I already have half of the money raised to go. Mom and dad will probably end up taking me to Alabama where from there I'll ride with Amanda Hart aka my sisters sister in law.
And we are "planning" on staying with someone there... but I can't say who because I don't want you to ask before I do! lol hehehe. I love ya but sorry. =) Okay anyways!

Does anybody know when we start getting the applications?
I figured they might put them on the Church web site but I looked and there wasn't anything to do with BTI at all. As far as I saw.
I hope some you get to go! I can't wait I'm so excited.

Forever in a day

Ever feel like you just lived your entire life in one day? Like Everything that made sense before that day was just summoned up in a ball of forgetfulness?
Or you do your best and it goes unnoticed. Or you do everything you can to be noticed and people pass you by like your not even there? I wonder if there is a word to place all of these feelings into.
There is this song I sing now and then by Sarah Groves called Skin and it goes:

The butterfly can just look back flap those wings and say oh yeah
I never have to be a worm again.
The snake gets tired of being him he wriggles from that itchy skin
Leaves it lying where he's been and moves on
I'm still longing for something tangible
Some kind of proof that theres been a change in me

Let's just say lately, doubt and confusion and worry, and self motivation, and the desire to do be more then I've known, is taking over me and I don't know if it's a good thing or not.
The bible talks about assembling yourselves together... but I don't have anyone to do that with. I love everyone at church, but I need someone my age. That I can relate to.
I wish sometimes that I could run away from myself. Which I know is entirely impossible. But still.
Back to reality.

The first of March

It's the first day of March. February was just here. I'm still sick, and I guess it's just because of how the weather has been lately.
I can't write much, maybe I'll write more later this evening. We are fixing to leave for prayer meeting.
So what have I been up to lately?
I have been working, studying for my written test to get my learners, school, preparing for the big test for tech school, for the two year photography program. I can't wait! Ya'll please keep me in your prayers. I had to give up my very difficult position at the other Tech school, so dad could move and pastor the church here. It was the hardest class to get into as well! So I'm praying the Lord will help me do this. I want to have a successful career. I know hands on what it is to jump from home business to home business within a months time! And I hate it.
I don't know. I do know that I'm still planning on going to BTI and I know I really need it because I'm just drained. Once again it's just Matthew and I. I long to be around youth. But not just any youth. Youth that know and love the church, and God like I do that strive to do everything they can for him. All my life I've had my dad as my pastor ( nothing against dad of course) and as of recent my mom as my sunday school teacher ( again nothing against mom of course). But these are people I've been around all my life! I need a fresh break. Something I may never ever get until I'm moved out or married. =(
Sigh. I have to slip my shoes on. I'll write more tonight maybe.
